REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP
1.
Applicant must be 18 years of age or over.
2.
Applicant must be professionally engaged in the music teaching profession at time of application.
3.
Applicant must hold a degree or a teacher’s diploma in music from a recognized university or college.
4.
Please include other information you may feel is important.
5.
Pass an examination before a Board of Examiners appointed by the Association at a music teacher’s level.
6.
Photocopies of any degrees or diplomas must accompany the application.
7.
Applicant must supply a letter of good character; the name and address only of the character reference is to be written on the application form.
8.
Registration fee in the amount of $20.00 must accompany this application.
9.
Annual dues must be paid within 30 days of acceptance of the application.
10.
Examination information will be supplied by the Registrar as required.
